Day 5 was one for the books! 🌸
Our “Fancy in the Garden” day brought out the best in floral styles and dressed-up smiles. We spent the afternoon enjoying each other’s company with a cookout that truly hit the spot.
A huge thank you to our Maintenance Director Tony Butler, Housekeeping Supervisor Grant Clark, and Floor Tech Paul Collins for cooking lunch for all our residents and staff — hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixings!

Day four of Nursing Home Week was a great one at Avondale!
We showed up in red, pink, and purple to celebrate love, friendship, and community spirit.
Residents spent time practicing for the talent show, and everyone had fun picking out some floral tattoos along the way.
The talent show brought it all together, with both residents and staff taking the stage. Safe to say, we’ve got some talented singers here at Avondale.
Staff also jumped back into the action with another round of “Petal to the Metal,” with Samantha Jones taking the win!
